PREVENTIVE VACCINATION

CONTENTS To prevent your children from catching contagious diseases, the city provides vaccinations of polio myelitis, diphtheria, whooping cough, lockjaw, measles, tuberculin, and BCG.
The details of these preventive vaccinations are described in a separate volume of "Mother-Children Handbook for Health."
For your information, MMR vaccination has been suspended in Japan.
Children should be taken to the vaccination places by guardians, or someone who is well acquainted with the child.

FEE It will not be charged.
REMARKS Regular vaccinations are separated into "group vaccinations" and "individual vaccinations," and they are held at different places.
In detail, please take a look at your separate volume of "Mother-Children Handbook for Health."
These vaccinations are free.
OTHER NOTICE Tuberculin reaction testing and BCG vaccination have been done in groups, and their schedule will be publishing in the city's official information paper. Vaccinations, such as for influenza, phrentitis, mumps, German measles, and varicella, are irregular and optional ones, and they will be charged.

SUBSIDY FOR NURSERY FEES IN KINDERGARTEN

CONTENTS To fulfill the education in kindergarten and reduce parents' financial burden, the city subsidizes nursery fees for children from 3 to 5 years old, who attend private kindergartens and whose family is a resident of the city.
Supporting rates will be determined on families' taxing conditions.

  2. Certificate to prove the amount of your citizen tax
PLACE FOR PROCEDURE Kindergartens that your children attend.
FEE It will not be charged.
REMARKS Subsidy will be delivered through your kindergartens in February.
OTHER NOTICE On choosing your child's private kindergarten, please ask the kindergarten directly.

SUPPORT PROJECT FOR CHILDREN'S HEALTHY GROWTH

CONTENTS For families whose third and younger children attend kindergartens, regardless of their income, the city provides the support system, and the whole expense which should be paid to kindergartens will be reduced.
This system covers expenses required for children's education, such as entrance fees, nursery fees, school lunch, and teaching materials.
DOCUMENTS AND OTHER MATERIALS REQUIRED
  1. Certificate of student status
  2. Certificate to prove that the children are third or younger.
  3. Certificate to prove the amount of your citizen tax.
PLACE FOR PROCEDURE Kindergartens that your children attend.
FEE It will not be charged.
REMARKS Expenses for entrance examination, PTA activities, attending transportation, and voluntary purposes, are not applicable.
