Akita Minami Ohashi Bridge
The bridge was built as an access route to connect National Road 7 and 13. It is also the longest bridge in Akita Prefecture.
Akita Express way
Access to the Tohoku Expressway has become more accessible and makes the drive to Oga Peninsula more convenient.
Torimachi/San Patio Omachi
Torimachi is the shopping area since olden times and is the center of activity in the area. A trendy complex building with a courtyard is an especially popular dating spot.
Gochomebashi Bridge
Kawabata Street is the liveliest place in town with lots of pubs, bars and restaurants. The bridge to this street has been rebuilt to allow both cars and pedestrians easier access. You can enjoy a break on the bridge.
Araya Public Library
People enjoy reading on a bench outside here. Why not walk with a book in this quiet place?
Cleaned up Asahikawa River
The Asahi River with carp swmming in its waters and willow trees on its bank. To protect this scenery, citizen groups keep the river clean and free from garbage.
